She Ain't All Bad.

But she ain't all good, either.

But Lordy, she sure is cute.

I realize that watching video of other people's kids is not nearly as fun as watching video of your own. I know that. I get that. But on this good Friday just know that although you may not be amused by any of this, there are two sets of grandparents who will be foaming at the mouth.

So let's just humor the four of them, shall we?

Besides, if you don't smile a little bit after watching Remi refer to her brother as a "beautiful princess", well, then something is seriously wrong with you. I mean, I smile just thinking about how I will use this video years from now to ruin his life. Cuz that's what moms are for.

I would also like to add that for every one of you who grimaced when she put her hand on top of his hand, have no fear - the law was laid down ONCE AGAIN for the 8 millionth time that you can't touch baby Rocco's head.

I'm just as sure that she'll remember next time as I am sure that I have lost weight this week just by really really thinking hard about it.

Have a good weekend, my lovelies.

Oh! Just LOOK at him gazing at her! They'll be good friends! (There's the normal everyday mortal enemies thing to come too I guess, but the Good Friends thing will win in the end.)

OMGosh!!!!!

She is just precious. I don't know how you keep from eating them up on light bread.

And Rocco making them sweet little baby noises. It takes me back to my precious little ones (who are now in the mortal enemy stage listed above in givinya de elbas comment).

Be blessed

you are right i did notice the arm on the head right off the bat. it just must be the mom instinct in us all. i remember telling my boys don't touch their head like that, don't, don't, don't. and they still do it. they eventually catch on after you answer the question "why" five thousand times:)

very sweet video though:)good way to black mail them when they are in high school. senior slide show here we come.

I have been moving and away from my blog for a while and I just caught up on yours. God is GOOD my friend. You are soooo blessed and deservedly so.

I also posted with the title "Be Still" a couple of days ago before reading yours. Although for completely different reasons, I felt God speaking to me when I opened your post. Thanks for confirming that I too - should "Be Still".

This would be perfect show them when they are fighting on the livingroom floor over the last Twinkie and yelling I hate you to each other. Tell them that for at least a few minutes they loved each other and wanted to be in the same room. Enjoy these beautiful and peaceful moments.

So cute! Reminds me of Mary Austin and Jane. At least Miss Remi was being gentle with him. Mae would walk be Jane and "love tap" her on the head. At least that is what she called the slap on the head.

OH, Melissa, they're both wonderful! I'm gonna have to come visit over and over again to watch this. The little baby noises, her caressing him, it was perfect. You're making my uterus hurt!!

Omgoodness... I want to drive up there and kiss them up... She is going to be a wonderful big sister; either that or an emmy winning actress. Haha. Melissa, I am over the top thrilled that you have a great start on the family you've always dreamed of. So blessed!! I love you all!

A very proud aunt.

He seems to be alternating his gazes from, "Oh sister, you're my hero and I love every inch of you." to "If you touch me again while calling me princess I swear I will rip my diaper off and pee on all your favorite toys."

I like him. He has spunk. :)

I think Rocco said, "Hey I love it when she strokes my head like that, it feels so good!" Did you hear him? Mixed signals are one of the very best parts of siblinghood!

Can you get Nonie to stop speaking that weird "slang" of hers?

It's weird, isn't it?

Just me?

Okay. Nevermind.

Oh Lordy this makes me want another baby. I dreamed last night that I had a little girl, and I woke up SO disappointed. A girl can hope...
