All You Single Ladies!

Beyoncé - New Music - More Music Video

This video is for anyone who ever said, "Y'all I went to one step aerobics class today and I'm already feeling better."

It's for anyone who's ever said, "I've been lifting weights. And I can really tell it in my legs."

It for anyone who ever said, "I don't get why people think Beyonce is pretty, my gym teacher looked just like her."

It's for anyone who's ever said, "If I got paid 100 million dollars I could dance like that, too." No. No you couldn't.

No, this video is for the woman who puts shorts on the first day of summer, looks at herself in the mirror...then takes them off.

It's for the woman who refuses to help her child out of the deep end, for fear someone will see her in her swimsuit, much less put a video online of herself in one.

And it's for the woman who is sitting watching this right now, with a Family Size bag of Doritos in her hand.

Here's to you, my friend.
From me; the woman who told her husband she could dance to this video for as long as it continued ("I can dance for 3 minutes solid, what do you think I am 100?"), and when he challenged her to do so she had to sit down by the 2nd verse for fear that she was having an asthma attack.

From me; the woman who once sang in a trio with her mom and her aunt and the said trio was hence referred to by her father as "The Dixie Chunks." Somehow I don't think the three of us on stage quite looked like these three.

Here's to us all!

Enjoy, my lovelies. Bathing suit season is just around the corner. Try puttin' a ring on that.

Yeah, well, I just gotta say...I saw that their butts and thighs jiggle, too! And now I don't feel so bad.

I'm pretty sure I'm tired just from watching them dance and I'm in pretty good shape.

I am exhausted and need some Aleve just from watching that. My favorite part was seeing her trying to catch her breath at the end.

Have you seen the Justin Timberlake SNL version of this?

Love this post, love the song, love that she's out of breath at the end. So glad they didn't edit that out!

I taught her that.

I love this song. But melissa I have something you ahve to do.

Go to youtube and in the search type in Shane Mecado. It will pull up this guy that can do all the beyonce moves from this video.

I don't know why but it sure is entertaining. Check it out when you have a second or two.

I have tried to get my butt to move like that. It just doesn't....

it's impressive. have you ever tried dancing in high heel? adds a whole new dimension to the cardio and a burn in the quads that will make you cry.

That was hilarious. I dance like that all the time. I can run "rings" around that chick.

My husband would probably keel over if I ever showed him my real "moves."

The first time I saw her do this dance I could only utter one word..... berserk. Yeah, berserk. And, just for the record, I'm pretty sure this is exactly what I look like when I'm dancing in the privacy of my own home. If I had known it would be such the rage I would've videotaped it a long time ago and sold it on the internet....

OK, if I bent over and then flipped my hair up and back abruptly, I would so land on my Beyonce. Yeah.

Fantastic! I wish I had a dollar for every time I would fall down if I tried to wear those shoes and dance like that. We'd go out for cheesecake, my dear.

Hmm, maybe I shouldn't go make those oatmeal caramel bars now. I'm glad she's from Houston. Somehow it makes me feel better that she probably went and gorged herself on chile con queso right after making that video.

Oh I am so there with you.

YOU OWE ME!!! I have been singing this crazy song all day. In fact, it may just be Eliza's first real sentence (besides "I-ont juice").

Not to mention that I got busted singing it aloud like 3 times at the Elem. school today (by adults).

I can't open this for some reason, but have you seen the guy imitating this one? He ROCKS!!

What?!
I'm built just like that.
Don't even have to work at it.
My husband thinks I have some sort of reverse-anorexia...like I look in a mirror and think I'm skinny, but I'm really NOT. So I eat and eat and eat, only to put some meat on these bones, and it just ain't workin'!
I think he's WAY off!

oh my heck...I will never think the same thing again about this song. I will laugh out loud every time! Thanks!
