What Can I Say?

What do I say to all of you?
What in the world?

Ya know, at first I thought "I'll write each of them back and tell them how much their words meant to me." But sweet mercy, I'd be replying till God returns.

So maybe I can just say it here...if you don't mind:

I really really really appreciate the fact that you all are adding someone you've never met in your life inside your private quiet time. That you are adding my name - MY! NAME! - to the top of your prayer list.

That Colleen, Deb, Kimmy and Leah are all lifting me up in prayer...not to mention Mindy and Sunshine, Lisa and Stephanie, NC, Breanna, Heather, DoesAnybodyHearMe, Lisa, and AnAmerican inNorway. Then there was Four Better or Worse and Mama Dawg who wrote to encourage me with their prayers. As well as Happymcfamily, Kim, Leighann, Trace, Jen, MommyCracked, Heather and Erin and Sumer. That was a superbly impersonal thank you. But it was nonetheless heartfelt.

Heck, Givinya gave me encouragment all the way from Australia - and she did it in that beautiful accent of hers. Don't ask me how I know, I just do.

And my friend Leighann who finally found my blog and who I knew would pray even without me asking.

And Mrs. S, who thanked me for opening my life up to you all when really I felt like I put more on you all then you needed or asked for. Thank you for allowing me to do that.

Kimba actually thanked me for my "boldness" which made me smile since I felt like anything but.

And Deanna who tried to hold back the tears for me. ME! A stranger...and yet, a friend.

Then there's Afro who apparently meets up with "Him" pretty often and they're chatting about me!

And Angela who reminded me what goes in to "knitting." I loved that. Thank you.

That this post of mine was actually Sheila's favorite. REALLY? And Kacey and Sherri loved it, too. How could that be? I was all NAKED and stuff.

Rae reminded me God was in control. Which she will probably need to do every 48 hours or so.

KO is sending me a prayer of encouragement to pray. Send on, sister!

This is not to mention all of the numerous emails I got that encouraged the pants right off of me! Seriously. Ask the AG. The pants came right off of me. He thanks you for the emails, too.

My friend Big Nanny reminded me of my nursery duties at church when I bring this child into the world. (She tries to be all tough, but really likes me and prays for me. I know it!)

Of course, Scott made me cry, cause anytime you mention music I cry. Or family. He did both.

And The File Family cares enough to want updates!

But it was Mrs4444 who reminded me that I am "decked with wildflowers". How did I forget that? Thank you.

That Finding Normal can actually relate as can Sydney...well, that can make a girl feel a lot less alone. Thank you.

That Angela shared her concerns for her future with me as did Anna and Sheri...thank you for entrusting me with your needs. I intend to pray.

Sara B. and her prayer partners are going to pray for me by name! Isn't that cool?

And that the "word" Kelley shared with me was perfect and right-on! Thank you sister.

Z's mom actually cried for me...I love her.

And Robin, Lula, Lynda, and BabyWillMake4 actually put me on their church's prayer list! Which I greatly appreciate.

And my friend, Me...well, let's just say she knows how to pray "specifically."

And my sweet friend Trish - who normally looks exactly like a serial killer - is actually willing to FedEx me some food. Now that, my lovelies, is precious.

For Angela who suggested I call the baby JULIO until we know for sure. Which I think is a perfect plan.

And don't get me started on Swirlsgirlspearls who always makes me laugh. Mazol Tov to you my friend...now get to praying. C'mon, you can do it.

My favorite of all may just have been Perksofbeingme, Rhe and Brittany who were honest enough to say that praying doesn't come naturally to them or that they're not huge fans of it. Well, that just tells me that you love me enough to leave me a comment just the same. Which means I know you care. And that means the world, right there! (Oh, and that praying thing??? Yeah....check your email. I'm coming for ya ladies.)

So to my friends, my family, my Granny, who wonders what blogs are for and what good do they do?
Well here you have it.

My baby and I lay down to sleep tonight - in peace.
Because today, you all said my name.

Amen.

I have been trying to figure out what this post was about. I thought I had read all your post and that the last one was the shelf one.

Wow, I was wrong. Many prayers that THIS pregnancy goes well. If you look at the side bar on my blog your'll find the The Gourley Family under inspirational blogs. They have really struggled and like you are hoping that God give's them a baby to love and hold on this earth. We don't always know God's plan and that is frustrating, but I'm glad you have him to guide you and know that he loves you even when things are rough.

Prayers for a sticky bean!

You are truly blessed to have all these prayers. And I think you are great to use this as an opportunity to bring glory to His Name!!

Yes, Ma'am....just have to "ask and it will be given." Hope you slept well - both of you :-)

I thought this was a beautiful post. I can't decide if I'm looking forward to that e-mail or if I'm terrified of you sending it. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

There is NOTHING too big for God to handle....give it all to him! He wants you to anyway.....

Love to you, AG, Remi and baby Julio....

I prayed for you this morning, specifically at 9:30...ok, well let's be honest...it was like 9:42 eastern time, so I was right there with ya.

Right. There. With. Ya.

Got it?

Thank you. And believe it or not, you are giving inspiration through this blog, so it's a two-way street. =)

I was spending a little time chatting with my Lord this morning.....in the shower, cuz that's where he and I start our day, and I remembered you!

But then I remembered something else that made me laugh out loud (my God is good like that!).........and that is your post four weeks ago about your lovely trip to the beach with some good friends and the AG. Yep, the white sandy beaches. Remember how a few of us though that picture of the AG was HOT? Well, I'm thinkin we wasn't the only ones thinking the AG was HOT, cuz little miss Meliss Lee, done got herself impregnated that week.....no???

I have no idea why that came to my mind during my reverant time with God, except for maybe he knew I needed something to laugh about today. It worked, cuz every time I think of you I laugh and then I pray.

I don't know you. I was routed to your blog from sits and I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo happy about this. I have been reading blogs all day but I wanted to say to you that I enjoyed this post and the last one too. I can't explain how I feel but just know that you have been thought of and your future has been prayed for. You said it best though...He can handle it. Thank you for sharing and for your nakedness and vulnerability and for reminding us of our helplessness. We are nothing without Him.

So in my quiet time this morning God led me here (for something I needed to hear for myself)and He told me to share this with you:

Romans 4:kinda18-kinda22
"When God promised Abraham that he would become the father of many nations, Abraham believed him...even though such a promise seemed utterly impossible...Sarah his wife had never been able to have children. Abraham never wavered in believing God's promise...He was absolutely convinced that God was able to do anything that he promised."

v.kinda17 Abraham believed in THE GOD WHO BRINGS THE DEAD BACK TO LIFE AND WHO BRINGS INTO EXISTENCE WHAT DIDN'T EXIST BEFORE.

I don't know your whole story ---but I'm suppose to tell you that God is bringing a dream of yours back to life and bringing into existence a child that to you was non-existant.

I hope that you are encouraged to know that you are righteous in HIM and your faith makes it so.

In HIM
TJ

Dinner time at my house...hands are held...the two year old remembers to pray for plates and the free napkins from McD's. We end by saying...and help that woman we don't know have a super sweet baby! :) LOL

Not really, but I'm still praying!
